BIS® Essential
BIS® Essential is a construction-specific accounting and management system designed for smaller or start-up companies.
It's ideal for contractors who don't yet need all the functions that are available in the other Editions, but want to have accurate and up to date job cost and project management information that off the shelf software cannot provide. The BIS® Essential Edition has all of this and is easy to learn and use without the high cost usually associated with construction accounting software.
With BIS®, there are no cumbersome procedures for batching entries or closing months. Advanced technology allows BIS® to make your office more efficient by eliminating manual procedures that waste your time.
With BIS® Essential, you'll have many reports at your fingertips to accurately determine the status of your jobs and your business.
Import estimates from just about any estimating software out there or from standardized Excel® spreadsheets! Save a significant amount of data entry time by using this powerful BIS® feature.
BIS® Essential contains all of the billing functions available in the other Editions. You'll find AIA® billing and forms along with Change Order, Cost Plus, Lump Sum and T&M billing.
All Editions of BIS® have built in functionality for prevailing wage and certified jobs. You can customize additions, deductions and tax deferred items per employee.
Since all of the BIS® Editions use an identical software architecture, file structures and operating processes, you'll be able to easily upgrade to another Edition by purchasing additional modules and users when you need them.
